Standardized Dress

Students will be expected to wear a polo style solid color shirt with collar.  Must be the appropriate size for student in any of the colors listed below:

  • Black
  • Burgundy/Maroon
  • Dark Green (Forest or Hunter)
  • Gold
  • Gray
  • Light Blue
  • Navy
  • Purple
  • Red
  • White
  • Yellow


  • Navy Blue, Khaki, or Black shorts, pants, skirts  or skorts
  • Friday:
Blue jean pants or shorts with Eckert spirit shirt or collared

Dress Code Additions:

  • No hoodies.  All jackets/sweatshirts must zip or button up the entire front.
  • Slacks, pants, shorts, skirts with belt loops require a belt.
  • All students will tuck in shirts all the way (front and back)
  • Shorts and skirts must be approaching the knee. 
  • Earrings are only permissible for girls.  It is not permissible to cover ear piercings with band-aids.
  • Leggings may not be worn with skirts/shorts that do not adhere to the dress code.
  • Shoes- flip-flops and slides are not permissible.  All shoes must have a back.

  • Distractive hair styles or unnatural hair colors are prohibited.
  • Mohawks/spikes that are extreme or distracting are not permissible.
  • Symbols or designs shaved into the hair must not reflect or suggest in any manner drugs, alcohol, tobacco, sex, vulgar language, gang affiliation, violence, death or satanic ideology.
  • No headwear (caps, hats, bandanas, hoods, etc.) may be worn at any time.


  • Beads of any kind may not be worn in the hair.


Repeated dress code violations are considered category 2 offenses. Consequences of dress code violations include but are not limited to:
  • Student/parent contact and conference
  • Detention
  • Removal pending parent conference
  • In-School suspension (1-10 days)
